Slim Soledad is a Brazilian DJ, producer, and Beatport Next artist who channels the raw, rebellious spirit of São Paulo’s underground into electrifying, genre-blurring club music. With a background as a dancer and organizer of Brazil’s first trans-led parties, Slim blends hard-edged techno, baile funk, and electro into a powerful and percussive sound that’s both deeply personal and universally explosive. Her debut EP, Space Manual For Those Who Cannot Swim, released via Headroom Records, showcases five acidic, astral techno cuts grounded in the rhythms of her Brazilian heritage – including standout single “Transmission,” which she’s rinsed at Time Warp and Boiler Room.
Beyond the booth, Slim uses her art and voice to reclaim narratives around trans culture through her ch3rnobyl Collective, and holds a boundary-pushing NTS residency spotlighting percussive techno and leftfield heat. Her latest release, “Protecting My Heart And Puss_,” featured on Headroom’s Sueños En La Tormenta compilation, is a gritty, provocative banger that’s turning heads across global dance floors.
