Detroit techno is a techno music genre born in the 80’s and early 90’s that originated in the city of Detroit, also known as Motor City. Most famous Detroit Techno pioneer are Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson, Mike Banks, and Robert Hood.
