Curation Picks: RAVL - Smart Fella

If there’s one label that I am always waiting for the compilations with impatience, that’s [RE]SOURCES, a French label navigating between all kinds of experimental bass music genres.

The new Club Hexagon IV presents seven solid tracks for the lovers of 160 BPM and more. Picking my favorite track was not an easy task! But let’s focus on ‘Smart Fella’ from the Marseille-based DJ and producer RAVL.

Gnarled basslines, sharp vocals, and percussions: the track entwines hard drum and bass music in a massive telluric sound, tinged with a distant Dub aura.
