Curation Picks: Super-Frog Saves Tokyo - Angel Blade

Okay, "Angel Blade" is weird. What even is this track? Sounds seem to come from all over the place, strange little details keep popping up, and yet somehow Super-Frog Saves Tokyo makes the whole thing work brilliantly. That fat synth bass, loads of analogue warmth, and a relentlessly heads-down groove hold it all together, landing firmly on the raw side of Trance (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic). Genius in a slightly bizarre way – and exactly the kind of track that gets more interesting the longer you listen. Bravo!
