Maria Nocheydia shares her Dancefloor Essentials

Maria Nocheydia’s rise has been anything but ordinary. Born and raised in Mexico City, Maria began her journey as a DJ at just 17 years old, quickly earning a residency at the influential club CSRhodesia. Deeply inspired by rave culture, her evolution from local selector to international force has been driven by her passion for crafting transformative musical experiences.
After launching her professional touring career in 2020, Maria was soon invited to perform on the legendary Mayan Warrior art car at Burning Man, a moment that solidified her status as a rising star in the global scene. Since then, she has shared stages with some of her most revered influences and performed at world-renowned events and venues including EDC Mexico, Day Zero, Circoloco, Hi Ibiza, Sundream, Maxa, Kater Blau, Sisyphos, and many more.
Following the release of her latest single "Acid Voicemail", Maria now digs deep to bring us her Dancefloor Essentials.
Anyone that knows me musically will probably guess I have at least 10 Radio Slave tracks or remixes on my USB stick. I mean how could you not? SOOO GOOD! And if you pair RS and an legend like Laurant Garnier, this is exactly what you get, a dreamy, breakbeat and epic sunrise worthy track that I hope you will love as much as I do.
I really like this cross-genre track that fuses classic house with melodic house. I really love the groove from the percussions with the bongo in the back and a big housey bass on top. It´s one of those tracks that never fails me on a dancefloor and is here to be served as a main dish. Always feels like a good pick to get the energy on the dancefloor going.
Who doesn’t love a classic? I know I am a sucker for classics. There is a special energy that is created when everybody in the room knows a track and gets excited. So I love how Tripolism brought the trippy psychedelic sounds to this all-time Classic, which has become very popular on dancefloors.
