The Netherlands-based Moluccan artist JAEL delivers a globe-trotting Playlist of the Week packed with bass-heavy heaters and club gems that he's unearthed while traveling between gigs.

I get very inspired by traveling and digging through new music when I am on the move. I found most of these songs while on tour and they've really helped elevate my performances. Enjoy!

Double 99 - Ripgroove [Ice Cream Records]

This one brings me back to my childhood days. Locking myself up in my bedroom with the CD/Cassette player on maximum volume and losing my mind to Speed Garage. Absolute CLASSIC.

Shuffa - Mix & Blend [Southpoint]

This became my new cheat code during my DJ set. SHUFFA always comes with incredible production and energy. 10/10!

Soul Mass Transit System - Murderation [Time Is Now Records]

This right here is my FAVORITE Garage tune at the moment. This production is CRAZY. I love the groove and bounce of the kicks throughout the whole song and everything around it!

Bushbaby - Roll To the Rhythm [Time Is Now Records]

Gotta love the Korg organ hits on Garage tunes! This one makes me feel so excited, literally hits every time! One of my favourite producers, Bushbaby!

salute, LEILAH - drive [Ninja Tune]

I love to listen to this one when I'm traveling. This song literally takes you away on a journey - I always visualize flying through space and see all kinds of different stars and planets and at the very end it takes me back to earth. So vibey!

Champion, Denham Audio, Bklava - Set Me Free [Warehouse Project Records]

Champion the LEGEND strikes back with this crazy hybrid Garage / UK Bass song. This right here is literally “the best of both worlds.”

Oppidan - WAKE AND BREAK [Promised Land Recordings]

I screamed so loud when I heard this for the first time! Such a BANGER. This one remains in my set all summer long. The perfect crossover song!

Machinedrum - HABITS [Ninja Tune]

This whole album (3FOR82_D3LUX3) is such a masterpiece. Every time I’m playing this during my set, it’s a game changer. So much groove and joy in this song.

Cesco - Up The Place [1985 Music]

I've only heard lots of 140 and garage tunes from Cesco, but this one right here is a problem! Straight up footwork to switch up the vibes and get to work on the dance floor!

Levity - Front To Back [Ultra]

This one is a MAD tune. One of my favourite 140 tracks at the moment. There’s no JAEL set if i haven’t played this one!
