Bákayan's Dancefloor Essentials

The groove, the bassline, and the almost hypnotic rhythm make it such a timeless hit. Boney M had a way of making tracks that instantly get stuck in your head, and that’s something I always aim for in my own music – melodies that people can’t forget. The funk elements and catchy hooks are something I love bringing into my productions lately.
Kryptogram is seriously underrated, at least for me! His ability to blend deep house with soulful elements is something I truly respect. ‘Woman Like You’ is the perfect example of a track that feels warm, groovy, and emotional all at the same time. I’m all about tracks that make you feel something.
An absolute classic from the late 80's! Inner City’s influence on house music is huge, and ‘Big Fun’ is one of those tracks that makes you appreciate how powerful house music can be. The uplifting chords, the catchy vocal hook, and the pure groove of this track inspire me to create music that captures that same timeless feel. House music is about unity and energy, and ‘Big Fun’ embodies that perfectly.
These guys are masters of groove. ‘That’s Right’ is such a clean, well-produced track with the perfect mix of deep house, funk, and disco elements. The bassline alone is enough to make you want to move. Their ability to create swing and rhythm in a track is something I try to take inspiration from in my own productions.
The godfather of house music, and ‘Baby Wants a Ride’ is more than just a track—it’s a statement. The storytelling, the raw energy, and the deep groove in this record make it a masterpiece. His influence is undeniable, and this tracks energy will always be a major inspiration for me.
