Following the release of Solomun's Club Edit of his track "Climbing," Daniel Snaith (aka Caribou) shares a selection of his heftiest dance floor weapons for Beatport's Playlist of the Week.

Here’s a selection of tracks I’m currently spinning during my DJ sets. These are in no particular order or genre, just a collection of personal favorites. I hope you enjoy it!

This February, Caribou will embark on a massive European tour with shows in France, The Netherlands, England, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. Learn more here.

DJ Jackum - Vibe [Time Is Now Recordings]

This track sounds bigger than every other track on every system I play it on everywhere. I don't even really understand how it sounds so insanely good. Bow down to DJ Jackum.

TuffCulture - Soul Ties [Bush Doctor Records]

TuffCulture strikes again with "Soul Ties" a high-energy fusion of garage and bass. TuffCulture is so distinctive with his own completely unique twist on garage and UK bass music — classic TuffCulture brilliance.

Caribou – Climbing (Solomun Remix) [City Slang]

When Mladen (Solomun) agreed to remix "Climbing," I knew it was going to be special, but the result exceeded all expectations. As he worked on it, he shared progress updates, and the track evolved into an understated epic. He even got me to record additional vocals for the peak moment, making this remix a truly standout creation.

*Unfortunately, this track is currently unavailable on Beatport in US territories. Check it out on Spotify here.

Megra - I Stay [Method 808]

The breakdown on this track is so beautiful — everywhere I play it, the unexpected harmonic shift and massive payoff sweep people off their feet.

Harry Hayes - Baby [LOVE CLVB]

"Baby“ is destined to become a future classic! I got in touch with Harry when he did a killer fan remix of my track "Broke My Heart" within a week of its release. Since then he's sent me tonnes of brilliant unreleased music. I was playing this all summer and it was my most requested track ID always.

De Schuurman - Raw [Nyege Nyege Tapes]

Uganda’s Nyege Nyege Tapes deliver again with "Raw," a gritty and aptly titled floor-filler by De Schuurman.

NOTION – TV DREAMS [NOTION]

NOTION’s "TV DREAMS" is an irresistible bouncy anthem, brimming with energy and vibes. NOTION is on fire at the moment with lots of unreleased stuff I wish I could include here but TV DREAMS is still a benchmark for his production and melodic skill.

MPH – One Sixty [Night Bass Records]

Nothing hits harder and nothing moves the crowd more. MPH is on unstoppable form. Peak time killer.

Nathan Fake – What You Want [Cambria Instruments]

Nathan takes on a UKG classic but I love the idea behind the EP this comes from - he covers the tracks without going back to listen to them - just from his memory of them. This is one of my favourite classics too (Industry Standard - "What You Want") and to hear it effortlessly reimagined with Nathan's signature sounds is a thrill.

Lil Silva – Seasons [Night Slugs]

"Seasons" by Lil Silva has been one of the most played UKF tracks in recent years—and for good reason. It’s an enduring classic that never loses its magic.

Verraco – 0∞ [Timedance]

Colombian artist Verraco, is a pioneer behind TraTraTrax and Insurgentes, pushing boundaries with every release. Weaving Latin-influenced tribal techno, hyper-electronica and emotional build-ups into tracks that keep you hooked.

Loidis – Tell Me [Incienso]

"Tell Me" by Loidis became my go-to sundown track last year. Its warm, lush deep-house grooves are perfect for setting the mood.

Plus One – Bonk [Ar Ais Aris]

Closing with Plus One’s bewitching high-energy track "Bonk" feels just right.
