London-based DJ/producer and SuperCali imprint head Ossie celebrates the arrival of his fresh 'Unstable' EP on Más Tiempo with some prime dance floor selects for Beatport’s Playlist of the Week.

Hey I’m Ossie, a producer and DJ from East London. I’ve put together a selection of my favourite songs, past and present, that I love to play in my DJ sets. Some are 4×4 house, some are percussive, and usually they’re bass-driven. All of the tracks are aimed to make people dance, wherever they are. I also have a few of my tracks from recent releases featured in the playlist. Big shouts to Beatportal for having me curate this week’s Playlist of the Week! I hope you guys like it. Ossie – Dreams [Más Tiempo]

I love this moody/dreamy record. I made this within a week, everything just came together smoothly. It’s one of the tracks from my recent EP ‘Unstable’, out on Más Tiempo.

Jammin – Down Shovel [Más Tiempo]

The groove and bassline go hand in hand on this one. Super infectious!

Madvilla – FM Trippin [Hot Wings]

This is definitely one of my favourite songs to play out recently, it’s such a driver.

Bicep – Vision Of Love [Feel My Bicep]

This track has everything you need for a timeless house track; piano chords, thumping drums, vocals and bassline!

Andruss, Hugel – Pega (feat. Fatboi) [Black Book Records]

This track hasn’t been out for that long, but the first time I heard it, I loved it.

Thrilogy – Heaven (K98 Remix) [Wolf Music Recordings]

I mix this track from four minutes in, when the vocals come back. The second drop is crazy. I love the drums.

Ossie – In A House (PHRH Remix) [SuperCali]

PHRH (aka Ki Pharaoh) remixed my track “In A House” on my label, Supercali – the 808 kick is dangerous.
