Ahead of their new 'VISION' LP, Italian DJ/producer and label head Martino Bertola of the melodic dance music duo Hunter/Game shares some deep and motivating track selects for Beatport's Playlist of the Week.

Our album VISION will be released at the end of October, and I've created a playlist to reflect the journey we took to produce it. The tracks included here are songs I play in my sets that have influenced our work in the studio and shaped our artistic vision. I've incorporated tracks from our label, Just This, as well as songs by friends and collaborators like Petar Dundov and Hollt. I hope you dig this collection and that it gives you insight into the musical direction we aspire to in the near future. Enjoy!

Hunter/Game - All I Wanted [Just This]

This is our new single. It previews the release of our album 'VISION' and represents well the genre we aimed to create with the album. Noah Kulaga's voice seamlessly blends with the synthesisers, creating an atmosphere that is both melancholic and powerful.

Fonz - Humanize [ISOLATE]

Very good with its deep yet powerful atmosphere. I play it often, but it's also great to listen to at home or in the car. Also recommended for a sunset set.

Sam Shure - What? [OJO Music]

Beautiful. It works incredibly well with its driving groove and is the perfect track to drop midway through a set to ignite the dance floor.

Frankey & Sandrino - The Moment

The energy of this track is very strong. The break is powerful and manages to capture the audience's attention.

Dave DK - Ross 308 [Pampa Records]

Pampa is one of the best labels of recent years. Dave DK is a unique artist in his genre, creating introspective house music that is also highly functional.

Yet More - Tryna Jack My Style [Innervisions]

Such a great track. It combines house sounds while being produced in a very contemporary way. The vibe is positive, and it works well on the dance floor.

Hardt Antoine - I Will [Kompakt]

We’ve released many EPs on Kompakt, and in 2016, our album came out on the illustrious imprint. This track was produced by Hard Antoine, a producer we really like. It is perfect for both home listening and playing on the dance floor or during a sunrise on the beach.

Hollt - World Perception [Simulate Recordings]

We’ve been collaborating with Hollt for several years now. We really like his production style and find similarities with our own workflow in the studio. This track is very moving, with a beautiful vocal, perfect for leaving a lasting memory of a great night.

Solique - Ordinary Things [ICONYC]

This is another recently released track that is always in my set. The mix between the synthesizer melody and the vocals is absolutely fantastic.

Petar Dundov - Terca [Just This]

Released in 2022 on our Just This label, this track is a classic example of timeless music. We were fortunate to collaborate with Petar on this EP, and his productions have greatly influenced us over the years to create our signature sound.

Hunter/Game - Last Hour (Arodes Remix) [Just This]

I played this track all summer long. I really love how Arodes remixed our version, transforming it into a perfect track to close the set in an unforgettable way.
