Following the release of his "universal" and stunningly curated 'DJ Kicks' compilation, the extraordinary Australian-born and UK-based artist DJ BORING hooks it up with some of his most superb dance floor weapons for Beatport's Playlist of the Week.

Hi, DJ BORING here. The playlist I've curated is a mix of tracks that have been fueling my recent sets and inspiring me in the studio. I've been working on a few exciting projects – some might already be aware of my recent DJ-Kicks compilation. Now I'm back in the studio working on my first album. It's pushing me to evolve as an artist, and I can't wait to show everyone what I’ve been working on.

Check out DJ BORING's 'Playlist of the Week' on Beatport.
Dub Head - Menace [Dawn Of Music Records]
Menace is a great track for bringing tension into a set. The repetitive rising bass keeps its grove, but it evolves perfectly over time. It's the perfect track for one of my sets.
X-Cabs - Neuro 99 (X-Cabs Remix) [Bellboy Records]
I’ve always loved X-Cabs tunes. They are a perfect blend of techno and trance. This track brings so much emotion that every set needs.
joeFarr - Spectate (Max Cooper Remix) [Leisure System]
Max Cooper doesn’t need any introduction; possibly one of the greatest producers of my lifetime. This remix has everything I love about a track: repetitive samples, an industrial beat, and a hint of emotion. Incredible!
Undivulged - Bliep Bliep (Hyden Remix) [Influenced Records]
Hyden has become a staple in my sets. High swing in the drum grooves, and simplistic basslines that are almost complicated. Every track by them is an instant buy.
Tripmastaz - Hypno Dre Vox [Plant 74]
I’m really into trippy vocals and sounds, and when done properly, I can create amazing grooves. Tripmastaz perfectly emulated this.
Jeff Robens - Groove Party [Volcanic Records]
I’m a sucker for driving sample-based techno. Anything that is high energy and groovy, this Jeff Robens track is the best example of what I love.
Cesco - Up The Place [1985 Music]
A little different from the other tracks. This Cesco track always goes mental in my sets. It’s so smart how each section is slightly different, making it fresh and exciting every eight bars, I'm a huge fan of his.
Son Error - Whipped Cream [AKRONYM]
This track has such an eerie feeling about it, and I really like that. It is always evolving but still driving enough to bring it out anytime in my sets.
SWISHERMAN - Pourin Up [Numerus Records]
Another producer I legit buy anything from. Hard groove, hip hop samples and Latino samples, there is nothing SWISHERMAN can do wrong.
Dario G - Sunchyme Original Mix
Everyone knows the song. Everyone loves to sing it. I want to give a tribute to Dario G for creating a modern classic. R.I.P. **** This track is not available on Beatport in North American Territories.
