Poor Pay Rich – Tessellation (Original Mix) [Observatory Music]
Wrapping this up with some top-notch underground tech house from Poor Pay Rich’s debut Tessellation EP on Observatory Music. The lead track, “Tessellation,” is a closing essential. If you find yourself playing a proper rave, this is the type of track that should close the night out. With a saturated kick and bassline, deep synth stabs, a catching vocal cut, and two uplifting breaks, the track zeros in on only the most essential elements and does so with great precision and success. Grab this tune!
Daniel Roth, Christian Burkhardt – Mousewalk (Original Mix) [Saturn Drive Records]
Frankfurt favorite Christian Burkhardt comes together with long-time collaborator, Daniel Roth to christen the new Saturn Drive Records imprint with their Mousewalk EP. The lead track “Mousewalk” has the typical Christian Burkhardt signature — micro tech house with a driving bassline, rolling percussion, and a dose of funk. This tune catapults me right back to the good old times of Love Family Park back around 2011 when tech house was all about the groove and not only big drum rolls and drops. More like these, please!
Raumakustik, Tube & Berger – Back To Party (Original Mix) [Sola Nauts]
Raumakustik and Tube & Berger are no strangers to producing chart-topping tech house. “Back To Party,” the second track of their joint Raumtube EP on Sola Nauts, is a banger of the highest degree! Driving the mood is a thumping bass with a tribal drum overlay that complements its mystic chanting vocals, this track will set the dancefloor on fire. This is their first-ever collaboration and hopefully not the last!
Fabio Neural, DJ Fronter – Fuckin Shit (Mendo Remix) [Clarisse Records]
Established by Swiss artist Mendo, Clarisse Records has successfully released high-quality music for almost two decades. Well-known artists Fabio Neural and DJ Fronter are the most recent acts to appear on the imprint with their The Enemies EP. With label head Mendo on remix duty, he again proves his production and tastemaking skills with his fiery interpretation of “Fuckin Shit,” the release’s second track. Super sexy all the way!
Radu Dracul – Below Zero (Original Mix) [Knee Deep In Sound]
Straight out of Transylvania, Romania, producer Radu Dracul hits us with a masterful track that is bound to get your blood flowing. The artist’s Below Zero EP is his second appearance on Hot Since 82’s imprint, and the title track is hands down one of my favorite tunes at the moment. This spheric song is pushy and very uplifting, yet full of emotions and deep frequencies. This tune is so versatile that you can drop it in nearly any situation of your peak time set. A real secret weapon!
Demuir – AhhHurrrWeGoAgain (wAFF Remix) [elrow Music]
wAFF’s remix on Demuir’s Don’t Drink The Koolaid EP — released via the infamous elrow Music imprint — is a groove aimed directly at the party starters. This track is all about its slick bassline and shuffled percussion. With wAFF slapping his classic sound to this already impressive original, the result is fully hypnotizing.
Aney F. – Good Vibrations (Original Mix) [DPE]
When Italian-based tech house imprint Deeperfect decided to expand their extensive musical vision with its DPE sub-label, we all knew this was going to be interesting! “Good Vibrations,” the standout track of Slovenian producer Aney F.’s Feel The Music EP is the perfect example of the outlet’s noteworthy sound. It’s tech house with a Jamaican touch that creates a rare and courageous vibe that deserves some props!
