Lackmus – Take Me [Found Frequencies]
I’ve been quite a fan of Lost Frequencies’ aptly-titled Found Frequencies imprint, and one of the label’s latest releases from German producer Lackmus has been stuck inside my head. “Take Me” is a lush, progressive tune that reminds me to slow down and appreciate all the little elements that make a track so memorable. That repeating line “Take me to a new place…” feels so hypnotic and soothing. All vibes.
Tujamo – Mi Amor feat. Muntu [TUJAMO]
For those who can’t get enough of Tujamo’s mainstage anthems (think “Boneless” with Steve Aoki), I recommend checking out the parts of his catalog that lean on the radio-friendly side of dance music. “Mi Amor” featuring Muntu strips down the usual dance anthem and offers up the catchy, uplifting bits that make this tune a total earworm.
NØ SIGNE, Emie – Here We Go [HEXAGON]
If you’re a sucker for catchy melodies, you’ll fall in love with NØ SIGNE and Emie’s “Here We Go.” Released through Don Diablo’s HEXAGON imprint, “Here We Go” opens with Emie’s sweet voice before NØ SIGNE delivers that shimmering synth melody, driving this track all the way home. These two are a match made in heaven!
Rave Radio, Kastra – Don’t Stop The Music [Ultra]
Something I love about Rave Radio is his ability to dance across a wide range of styles throughout his catalog — one of his latest tunes, “Don’t Stop The Music” with Kastra, proves his mettle as a producer who can do it all. This tune has quite the snappy hook before descending into a groove-infused dance floor hit. Just as the song tells us, seriously — don’t stop the music.
Foxes – Sister Ray [[PIAS] Recordings]
Of all the tracks in this round-up, Foxes’ “Sister Ray” has to be the one that completely awakens my heart and soul. It sounds dramatic, but “Sister Ray” is that song you sing at the top of your lungs while tearing it up on the dance floor. If you haven’t kept up with Foxes since she stunned the world with her voice on Zedd’s “Clarity,” I highly recommend thumbing through her solo catalog — ”Sister Ray” is the perfect start.
Freischwimmer, Jessica Jean – Helium [You Love Dance]
I’ve been so impressed with releases coming from You Love Dance these days, and Freischwimmer and Jessica Jean’s “Helium” is a fantastic example of the label’s diverse catalog. Bubbly, upbeat, and freeing, “Helium” commands listeners to jump up and dance the night away, reminding us to forget all about the day’s worries and surrender to the beat.
