Nicole Moudaber & Ida Engberg - I Haven’t Felt This Way [MOOD]
I had to start things off with my new track with the amazing Ida Engberg. We’ve played together many times and she’s been part of my MOOD family for years but this our first-time making music together. I think we might have to do a few more…
Made By Pete - Fires (Victor Calderone & Mykol Remix) [Crosstown Rebels]
My good friend Victor Calderone teamed up with Mykol on this remix and it’s got everything you could want from a tough and trippy techno tune.
Hilit Kolet - Hot Mess [Rekids]
I have been following Hilit Kolet for a while and let me tell you, she has been absolutely smashing it recently. This track on Rekids is a raw, sensual, ‘hot mess’ of a track that I have been loving lately.
DJ Minx - Taking It Back [Higher Ground]
DJ Minx is one of my soul sisters and when I first heard this one I knew it was going to be a banger. Minx takes you right back to her roots and her early days as a DJ back in Detroit – and every time I hear it, it gets me itching to get back to that city and the home of techno.
Maceo Plex - Hooligan Plex [Lone Romantic]
This is one of my faves from Maceo’s album. It starts off on a hypnotic vibe and then packs in the bass, and absolutely slams whenever I play it.
Yotam Avni - Ashbor (Roi Azulay Remix) [AVNIart]
Roi takes us on a journey with this hypnotic remix. It’s raw, sensuous techno packed with that tantalising Middle Eastern flavour I hope we’re going to be hearing a lot more of.
Hard To Tell - African Sand [Multinotes]
Tel-Aviv DJs Hard To Tell are having a moment right now and this latest track African Sound is a dance floor driver.
Last Men On Earth - LMOE presents .. DJ Mastering [Get Physical]
If these were the last men on earth, our dance floors would be in safe hands! Love what these guys are doing, it’s gutsy, trippy, experimental and it works.
Christian Smith - Don't Stop [Tronic]
Christian knows how to bring the beat, and this driving techno stomper with its catchy electro hook and rave siren is still a fave to get the crowd going, a year on from release.
Solee - Heat [Future Romance]
I love a Solee production and this single is another massive track that’s moody, euphoric and exhilarating. The acid line takes me back to the old school rave, whilst the pounding bass brings it back to the future.
Chris Liebing & Nicole Moudaber - Watch Me Choose You [CLR]
I had to include one of the tracks from my EP with Chris, we dropped last year. Chris’ music always gets me in a trancelike state and we had so much fun in the studio, working on these. I hope everyone likes them as much we do!
Roland Clark, Alexander Technique - You Are Here (Josh Wink Vox Version) [MOOD]
It’s always an honour to such have legends releasing on your own label and what a package this was. I’ve chosen Josh’s Vox Version for this playlist – the stripped back sound, and the way he chops Roland’s iconic vocals into a dance floor command is an absolute mood.
Len Faki - Yantra (Planetary Assault Systems Remix) [FIGURE]
Never has a name felt more in keeping with a sound as Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems. This is pure, visceral techno and it’s the kind of track I like to have under my hair when I want to take fans to another dimension.
Drumsauw - Escape [DCLTD]
There’s no escape from this track when it has you under its spell. This one is brand new and it’s an absolute weapon.
Romain Richard - Memory Bliss (William Artist Ritual Tribe Mix) [ANAOH]
Changing the tempo for this next one. When I first heard this remix, let me tell you it spoke to me. The percussion, funk, soul and those Latin and Tribal elements all together in one song? It’s a big yes from me!
Alcatraz - Giv Me Luv (Nicole Moudaber Remix) [Yoshitoshi]
We’re going on a journey now my loves! I released this remix of Alcatraz’s Giv Me Luv and I like to think it’s still as sexy now as it was back then. What a voice!! Turn up that volume and get lost in the rhythm.
Leisan - Rover [Diynamic]
Leisan’s "Rover" might be new but it’s a track that will stand the test of time. It’s dusky tech house with an impossibly groovy heart.
Nicole Moudaber - Rise Up (feat. London Community Gospel Choir) [Nothing Else Matters]
I first tested "Rise Up" on a hot summer’s day in Amsterdam and the crowd went nuts. I knew right there and then I was onto something special. The message ‘Rise, Rise Up, Dust off and do it again’ is such a powerful message: together we can come together and Rise Up to the next level. We recorded with eight members of the London Community Gospel Choir and let me tell you, I had goosebumps that day!
Saraga - A Freak Like That [Nervous Records]
We might want to forget most things about 2020 but one thing we won’t be leaving in the past is this track from Saraga – hit it honey!
10010 - Rapture [Finesse Records]
I bet you didn’t expect me to end it like this, did you? "Rapture" is such a seminal track for me – it’s slow, seductive and sublime. Sit back, and bathe in the rich soundscape and I promise you’ll come out feeling like a new woman!
