Stylo Picks his Dancefloor Essentials

Following two huge releases on Anyma's ÆDEN imprint earlier this month, the rising producer shares the five tracks dominating his sets right now.

Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Stylo has been steadily carving out his own space in melodic electronic music, combining driving grooves with an emotional edge. With recent collaborations alongside names including Anyma, Kevin de Vries and Space Motion, and appearances on some of the world’s biggest stages, his sets move between high-energy dancefloor moments and deeper, more emotional territory. Here, Stylo shares five tracks currently defining his sets.

March

Goom Gum are incredible producers, and their sound always delivers when it matters most. “March” is a proper dancefloor weapon — it instantly lifts the energy whether I’m playing a club or a festival. It’s a banger with an iconic melody that manages to feel emotional while still pushing the energy and the whole vibe forward.

Prophecy

There’s something really unique about this track. The vocal has this almost church-like, spiritual quality that completely changes the atmosphere when it comes in. It creates a special kind of euphoria on the dancefloor — one of those moments where you can really feel the whole crowd being pulled into the same emotion.

On The Ground

We worked on this track together in the studio without ever imagining how far it would eventually go. Now, every time I play it and see the reaction from the crowd, it’s an incredible feeling. There’s always that moment where I remember us sitting in the studio creating it, and suddenly thousands of people are reacting to something that started in that room.

No Good

Right now, I think new interpretations of iconic melodies have a special power on the dancefloor. For the people who know the original, there’s an immediate feeling of nostalgia, while for a younger crowd it can feel completely new. The melody in “No Good” fits naturally into my sets because the track has a lot of energy while still being very groovy. For me, that balance is the secret of the record.

Be My Own

I’m definitely an emotional person, and I love ending my sets in a way that closes the story and gives me one last connection with the crowd. I want that final moment where we can feel something together, while still leaving enough energy in the room and respecting the artist playing after me. For me, “Be My Own” does exactly that — it keeps you moving, but there’s something warm and emotional underneath it. It feels like a final hug before saying goodbye.
