Playlist of the Week: CID

I have to start with my new track, “1800.” I teamed up with Taylr Renee again for this one, and it felt like the obvious follow-up to our collab “Fancy $hit.” She sent me the vocal with a warning that it was a little crazy and out there, which immediately piqued my interest. The track came together pretty quickly, and it’s been in all of my sets ever since. It always gets people’s attention when I play it.

The live crowd and announcer samples on this are almost like a cheat code. It’s such a big tune and can instantly change the energy in any room. One of those tracks where you can feel the crowd react as soon as it comes in.

I hit up Heartless House for some music a few months ago, and this was one of the tracks they sent me. I’ve started a bunch of my sets with it, and it always grabs people’s attention right away. That classic riff just before the drop gets a huge reaction no matter where I play it.

I’ve always been a sucker for big, bassline-driven tracks. I hadn’t heard anything from Luke Dubose before this one, but the Jamie Jones/Hot Creations co-sign definitely got my attention. The combination of the vocal, bassline, and groove gives it such great energy. It can work in a smaller room but still hits just as hard on a big dance floor.

Both of these guys have been on fire lately. I got in the studio with Mishell recently, and his focus on unique melodies and riffs is one of the things that really makes him stand out. “Get Messy” has such a fresh approach to what still feels like a classy sound. It’s super catchy and hooky without sacrificing any of the cool factor.

I miss the days of being able to play long, rolling tech house sets, and Us Two have really been bringing that sound back in a huge way. I played this last weekend at Space Miami and it completely lit up the room. I think we’re going to see this housier, classic tech house sound coming back in a big way.

Zaro is part of the next wave of Brazilian artists really starting to make noise. This one has such a big tribal, percussive groove that you can’t really help but move when you hear it. I’m always a sucker for a quirky synth line too, and that gives this track a really fresh feel for 2026.

JØRD is such an amazing producer. He’s been around for a while, but it feels like he’s really found his sound, and I think he’s going to have a massive year. I’m obviously a fan of head-turning vocal hooks, and this one is just ridiculous. Paired with the almost sampled feel of the indie-leaning production, it makes for something really special and different.

These guys are part of the next generation of U.S. Tech House producers starting to really make waves. Dedro has been absolutely on fire, and I’ve been rinsing a bunch of his unreleased music lately. I first played “Feel Me” at EDC Vegas this year, and the production and melodies immediately stood out in my set. It has that perfect combination of being musical while still hitting hard on a big system.

Max is easily one of the most prolific producers out right now. He’s been relentlessly releasing top-quality music, and “Body Shake” off his new EP is no exception. The huge rave lead and driving drums give this one exactly the kind of peak-time energy that can light up any room.
