Playlist of the Week: Ezequiel Arias

Cameron Holbrook
Ezequiel Arias doesn’t make progressive house that rushes the point. His tracks take their time, which is probably why they hit so hard when they finally open up. Coming out of Córdoba, one of Argentina’s real progressive house strongholds, he has spent the last decade building a name the slow way: releases on Anjunadeep, Bedrock and Sudbeat, open-to-close sets people travel for, and records that keep finding their way to the top of the Beatport charts.
“Perfect Dream” helped push Arias to Beatport’s #1 top-selling Progressive House artist of 2025. Following the release of his joint Prisma EP with Durante, he's kept the momentum moving this year with his most-recent tracks “Sin Control” and “Psychodelia” – both which sit at #2 and #6 on Beatport’s Progressive House chart respectively, with the former opening the door to his six-track Estimulo project, set for release on August 28. For his Playlist of the Week, Arias digs into the records powering that long, locked-in world.
One of my personal favorites from the last year. It represents my sound 100% and has also become a fan favorite since I started playing it. It’s especially meaningful as it’s the first single from my mini album, Estímulo.
Guy is, without a doubt, one of my favorite producers and an artist who has greatly influenced me. This is one of his latest releases that I’ve been playing a lot. As always, top-quality music.
Hernan and Kevin are two fundamental pillars in my career, both as an inspiration and through their mentorship and guidance throughout my artistic journey. This is undoubtedly one of their remixes that I’ve played the most.
Another great producer with a very distinctive sound. This track has created amazing moments on the dance floor during my recent shows. Dark and groovy.
This is one of my most-requested tracks recently and one I’ve played the most in my shows. The crowd’s reaction has been insane every time I’ve played it. I’m very happy we were able to release it using the original sample from "A Train Of Fantastic."
Another great talent from Argentina with a very personal groove and sound. It always creates a great moment on the dance floor.
I’m a fan of Kasper and his distinctive, well-crafted sound. I’ve been using this track to open some of my shows, and the reaction has always been incredible.
COQUEIT is without a doubt one of my favorite Argentine producers of recent years. There’s always one of his tracks in my sets, and he’s definitely an artist to keep a close eye on.
What can be said about Sasha? He’s one of the true legends of the genre and undoubtedly one of the most important producers in the history of electronic music. This remix is still a staple in my sets and always creates a magical moment.
I’ve been playing a lot of J Ribbon’s music lately, and this track is undoubtedly one of the night's peak-time moments.
Fausto is an emerging producer from Argentina who has developed a very unique sound. His music has accompanied me in my shows over the last few years. "Rider" is one of the tracks I’ve played the most from him, and we were able to release it on my label, Melorama.
A true classic that brings together three producers who have had a huge influence on my sound. This track, in particular, perfectly encapsulates what progressive music means to me.
Maze is one of my favorite producers. Peak-time progressive house at its finest.
Fran is another Argentine artist who has built his own identity and developed a truly unique sound. Amplitude combines a dark atmosphere with futuristic textures that always fit perfectly into my sets. A true peak-time weapon.
Another timeless classic. The vocals and the groove perfectly define that special 2012 era of progressive house.
