SAMOH Selects 5 Acid Tracks That Never Wear Out

This track feels like acid techno in its purest form, nothing unnecessary, just a raw 909 groove and a relentless 303 line doing all the heavy lifting. There’s something timeless about how stripped-back and effective it is. It was also one of the records that really pulled me into acid techno in the first place and showed me how powerful the genre can be with such minimal ingredients.

This one is really close to the sound I’m personally drawn to, rolling basslines, high energy, atmospheric textures, and those hypnotic vocals that pull everything together. I also love the way Charlotte uses acid here in a more trippy and unconventional way, almost like an evolving synth lead rather than a classic 303 pattern. It feels like a modern take on acid techno while still keeping the rawness intact.

I wanted this track to feel like a real peak-time moment. It slowly builds tension layer by layer before the acid line finally comes in and completely shifts the energy in the room. For me, it captures that balance between emotion and intensity that I always try to bring into my own productions and DJ sets.

This track brings in more of that old-school acid trance energy that still works perfectly in techno today. There’s a nostalgic feeling to it, euphoric, driving, and slightly psychedelic at the same time. I love how it blends trance influences with acid in a way that still feels powerful and timeless on a dancefloor.

“Heatwave” is one of my favorites from him. The acid lines are fast, aggressive, and constantly moving, but still super controlled and effective. It’s the kind of track that instantly injects energy into a set and pushes the intensity to another level.
