Playlist of the Week: THEOS

THEOS
Fresh off the release of his new collaborative single “Love Me Right” with Fleur De Mur, French DJ/producer THEOS curates a feel-good journey rooted in classic house influences, blending soulfulness, emotion, and forward-thinking energy.
I’ve always approached DJing in a very instinctive way, selecting tracks based on the moment, the setting, and the energy and culture I want to share with the crowd. For this playlist, I imagined an open-air set, late afternoon on a beach, with the sun slowly going down. There’s a mix of releases from my label, Blink, a selection of tunes that inspire me every day or that I feel are pushing house music in the right direction, as well as a couple of my own tracks.
My sound is rooted in classic house, with influences from hip-hop, funk, and jazz. It’s all about creating a unique blend that feels both timeless and fresh. This playlist reflects that balance, with soulful grooves, uplifting vibes, and high-energy moments throughout. I’ve also included “Love Me Right” with Fleur De Mur, which just came out. I’m really excited to finally have this one out in the world. Whether you’re getting ready for a set, driving, or watching the sunset somewhere, I hope this selection brings you the same feeling it gives me.
"Love Me Right" is our first track in collaboration with Fleur De Mur. We’re so glad with what we came up with. I find that song blends in so many influences like classic house, soulful, funk, and jazz. Every time I spin it, people go crazy during the breakdown!
I’ve always been a fan of Josh and Romeo’s respective work. Here it’s even better to see them working together. We can feel different aesthetics coming from them both. I’m a big fan of "Work For Us," which has been released via my label Blink.
Besides being my friends, RUZE and Chesster have been making moves lately. Each track they put out together is an absolute gem. I had to choose "Another Night" – out via Soulfuric Trax. This track brings such a unique amount of energy. Keep it up!
TwoSlice are rising artists I’ve been keeping a close eye on lately. Their talent really stands out, especially in the way they approach production. There’s a real taste and attention to detail in their sound. For me, they’re definitely contributing to pushing house music forward.
I’ve been spinning this track since its release last year. Kyle and the duo Murphys Law nailed it on this song. I think it blends different dance music influences really well, such as deep house and tech house. The energy of the track matches every kind of setting, whether it’s a warm-up set at 6 PM or even a peak-time slot.
Verso is a rising producer and DJ from the UK who I watch very closely. He has been putting out great tracks lately, perfectly tailored for the club. "Mover" is probably one of my favorites of his. To me, it blends several influences: Jazz from the chords, deep house from the bass, funk from the brass, and hip-hop from the vocals and scratch samples.
How could I do a playlist without including a track from my brothers Oden & Fatzo? This is a collab we made together with Noa Milee on the microphone. "Fly Away" blends raw sounds and poppy vibes so well, thanks to the classic House synth sound and Noa Milee’s vocal takes.
I discovered this gem from Brian Tappert only two weeks ago. The sound of the label Soulfuric is something I implement in my sets every time. It lifts the energy every single time I play a track from their catalog. At the moment, I’m in love with this one!
If you don’t know Midas Field, I would advise you to check him out now. I have been a fan of the work he has put out lately. "Hear My Heart" is a great blend of everything I love in house music.
"You Might Like It"... you may like it. This track gathers all the underground aesthetics I’ve been digging since I was 16: raw drums, one strong stab blended with delay, simple hip-hop vocal chops, and a rolling bassline with just enough room to let us breathe. Absolute class!
