The Glasgow mainstay continues to push his sound and performance identity into bigger, louder territory. With more music locked and loaded, 2026 is already shaping up to be another serious chapter. To soundtrack the moment, he’s stepped in with a Playlist of the Week packed with tracks feeding his current headspace and fueling what’s coming next.
How's it going Beatport, nice one for having me. My name is Denis Sulta and I'm buzzing to be here talking all things dance, music & art with you all. I've been around the world and back again thanks to the majesty of music and its relationship with the dance floor, not to mention all the people that have made that possible. 2026 has a lot of exciting stuff in store for the Sulta. It's a crazy ride as a DJ/producer and one that can't really be described in words. So let's celebrate these tracks and let them do the talking.
The ten year milestone for one of my most cherished productions 'It's Only Real' created a natural opportunity to reassess the Sulta sound and mindset for the current times. I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out. such a fascinating experience seeing something change through experience and different perspectives - biggest track in my sets by far.
For sure the biggest songwriting reference I'm using right now, the gang vocal effect that is used to create such an enormous energy. I'm finding Ninajirachi's music to be a huge positive force in how I feel about dance music at the moment - unbelievably fresh.
Some of my friends call me Hekt, but I had nothing to do with this production. I wish I had though. Out on Glasgow's cutting edge Numbers imprint, this one embodies pretty much everything I remember about what it was like being influenced by Numbers growing up in the dance music scene in Glasgow - crazy fire, super unique.
This one is filed in the "Special" folder. AFFKT on the remix here is bonkers. The composition is just blindingly good and you would not believe the reaction it gets every single time I've played it out - which has been every single time I have played out for about the last year. Inspiring, musical, and universally attractive.
Unbelievably creative this one, the synth breakdown is like flying over a great waterfall at sunset, truly epic. All the vocoded voices are incredibly entertaining, and the way they are developed throughout is so clever. The originality of this piece is pretty incredible - 10/10 mega tip.
I am a dance music fan, and this is boundary pushing. No two ways about it, Summit is dedicated to his craft. I can't say I've heard anything quite like this in this space, and anything that does sound remotely similar now functions as reference to the creation of this - pretty unstoppable, significant moment in dance.
You want uplifting? You want a great song? You want to know what an eagle feels like soaring over the grand canyon? I wish I could know even an ounce of what it felt like in the creation of this wildly hope-inducing mega anthem. Thank you so much for bringing this into existence. Dope, dope, dope!
Two of the most inspired and exciting artists about right now. To have created such a beautiful world that has such a stand out moment in all my sets is quite something to behold. I can't wait to see what happens next for these two. Legends of the game - big link up, even bigger record.
A perfect record. Absolutely perfect. Every decision made in this production is perfect and I will listen to this for the rest of my life and every single time I do it will fill me with light. Angelic, club banger, and a soul toucher.
