Playlist of the Week: Elkka

Cameron Holbrook
Fresh off last year's wondrous XPRESSION EP on Method 808, Elkka returns to her Femme Culture imprint with her forthcoming Believer / Re:connection, a tight two-track EP built for late nights and sweaty dance floors – landing on March 13.
Across the release, the Cardiff-born producer taps into the warmth, repetition, and emotional pull that define her sound, blending loopy, euphoric vocals with crisp, turn-of-the-millennium house energy and head-down '90s synths. It’s classic Elkka: intimate, physical, and rooted in queer club spaces, where connection and release sit at the center. To celebrate her forthcoming EP, she’s stepping up as our Playlist of the Week curator, soundtracking the energy you can expect on the floor.
To celebrate the release of my new 'Believer / Re:connection' EP on Femme Culture, AND the announcement of my next PRISM party in London (March 20, see you there), I've selected some sweaty + steamy tracks that I've been loving recently. You can expect to hear these on the floor at PRISM and you might even catch a couple of the artists playing with me.
Love to Beatport and all of the artists in this list you're all incredible! xxx – Elkka
Elkka's next PRISM party takes place on Friday, March 20 with DJ AYA, Julie Desire, and R:Elise. Grab tickets here.
J’adore Chicks on Speed, and this driving synth line is designed to get people moving and drawn to the dance floor.
That bass line makes me wanna strut across the dance floor. Feels sexy and sleezy in the right way.
Adore the label this sits on and this track from Pancratio, another great opener/early time track for me.
Squelchy synths, yes please.
A classic and simple old school house track by the iconic Kim English.
Perfect acid house moment when you want people to put their phones away and just groove along.
I mean its Orbital. Aspirational dance music.
Peak time perfection, those vocals... Jesus! Feels meditative but in a way that gets your pulse racing!
This makes me want to get my head down and stomp my feet.
A rare time I find it effortless to DJ my own tracks, but this one is always fun to play.
