X & Ivy Dancefloor Essentials Playlist

This whole EP is a work of art, but this track in particular really stands out for us. Released on one of our favorite Labels (Rhythm Section) this track locks you in from start to finish. Nice crisp drums, sweet driving synths, and a gorgeous arrangement. This one is truly a timeless record.
A perfect example of UKG at its most elegant. The vocal floats, the percussion stays restrained, and the whole track opens up into something warm and euphoric. It shows how Garage can be emotional and refined, not just rowdy or high energy.
An absolute heater - plain and simple. From the moment you hear the groove, you can tell this record has class written all over it. Between the sexy groove, deep hypnotic textures, and beautiful progression, this record is too good to not rinse completely dry. Not to mention the iconic lead synth line is guaranteed to get any room pumping. Huge shout to Anatole for this one!
A beautiful opener. Lush pads drift in before the recognizable "It's a Fine Day" vocal appears, slowly building tension without ever rushing the payoff. It sets the tone with warmth and patience.
This has stayed in rotation through every phase of our taste. The groove is minimal but magnetic, always pulling the room into focus. It never tries to be a peak-time anthem, yet it becomes one depending on how and when you play it. A masterclass in restraint.
Roza Terenzi’s Step Ball Chain has become a reliable source of dancefloor essentials, and Yazzus’ My Lipgloss My Rules is a standout. It hits with a dark, rolling bassline that feels both playful and heavy, a proper dungeon weapon. It works in peak-time sets, after-hours, or warm-ups, and when we’re not playing it out, it’s usually looping at home.
Talk about controlled chaos in the best way possible. This record has so many different ideas that all flow and blend seamlessly. Each element feels spontaneous yet intentional - the drums snap, the melodies change in unexpected directions, and all of the textures collide perfectly. It’s the kind of track that keeps you on your toes, wondering what’s going to come next!
There’s something about this record that tickles the brain unlike anything else. A classic Hip House staple that feels criminal to gatekeep. It’s polished yet raw, which is the vibe we always love. It’s a bit unpredictable at times, but in a way that keeps it bouncing and fresh throughout the whole track.
