Playlist of the Week: Kayzo

Kayzo Beatport Playlist of the Week

Kayzo

Nov 4, 2025
From industrial techno to schranz and psy-driven basslines, Kayzo's Playlist of the Week captures every corner of the hard dance universe he’s been tearing up on tour.

I wanted this playlist to embody each nook and cranny of hard dance and hard techno that I'm inspired by. From hard hitting industrial to schranz and rhythmic psy-driven basslines. Everything here is something I am currently making genre wise and even tracks I am playing live in my current set. Shout out to Beatport for giving me the opportunity to share some of what makes my brain go crazy.

Kayzo - Overload 2K [Welcome Records]

"Overload 2K" is a melting pot of what makes me the producer I am. I am all about relentless energy when it comes to writing music. With that being said, I wanted to bring a rave breakdown and second drop into the song to bring it full circle as to where Kayzo is and where it's going.

Manji - Go Crazy [DistroKid]

I'm in love with French-core kicks and this one really drives that theme perfectly. Mixed with a really fun vocal and bridge melody, Manji crushed this one and it's been a staple in my sets.

Kobosil - BR3ATH3 (DARKENED MIX) [44 Label Group]

Kobosil has been one of my favorites in schranz and "Br3ath3" is just the latest in a long list of records I've supported from him. This one specifically has such a catchy lead that its combination with the vocal just makes it so much fun to listen to. It really has this nice euphoric feel to it that makes it stand out.

Fumi, KARAH - The Devil and the Angel [Verknipt Records]

I had the chance to meet Fumi in Paris not too long ago, and ever since then, I have been in LOVE with his music. The ability to bring in these full-on orchestral moments and make them feel larger than life is so much fun. The kicks in this one are a nice complement to those breaks, making this song feel larger than life.

Ben Techy - Kein Gott, Kein Schlaf [Techno Germany Records]

Probably one of my favorite songs at the moment. This has become a staple in my sets as of late. It has just the perfect melody in my opinion.

Kayzo, SampliFire - Berserk [Welcome Records]

SampliFire and I wanted "Berserk" to be the ultimate kick and style sampler when it came to this song. We decided that we would have the record just continuously change kicks but wanted it to feel connected at all times. That meant quick builds into each other and a common theme that ties it together. In this case, the screech.

ANOLUXX - CERBERUS [Welcome Records]

If you get the chance to see ANOLUXX perform live, just be ready for the most insane energy you have ever seen. I thought I went crazy live, and then saw him. "CERBERUS" is as if he put his energy from his live performances into a song and unleashed it.

Jan Fleck - Polytox [Cannibal Society]

When I first played this song live, I was blown away by the mixdown. Sometimes, I've noticed schranz tunes can be really hard to mix and get to resonate on a big PA system. This one checked all the boxes and then some, but that wasn't what surprised me. The song came out in 2012. A 13-year-old song that still holds up. Incredible.

HIVEMIND - EXE [Stinger Sounds]

I couldn't forget to include this one that really holds a special place in my heart and set. The debut track off my side project alias with Must Die! and Space Laces. "EXE" was a stepping out moment for us as a group, but a huge moment for me as it really helped reignite my love and passion for hard dance and techno.

Samuel Moriero - Bass Kick [Revive Label]

A song in my set that gets such a strong crowd response. The call and response in kick sections are so tasteful and well done. That combined with really strongly contrasting kick fills make it a weapon at a warehouse or festival.
