Edd's Dancefloor Essentials

This is a track which I made around October of 2024 and since then Id say I’ve played it in 99% of all my sets. To be honest, I just love to play the track out and the fact that people sometimes sing the track back to me just fills me up with so much energy while I play. I have a feeling that this track will remain a staple in my sets for a long, long time.
The thing about this track is, if you play it at the right moment and in the right setting during a set, you will definitely create a memorable and emotional moment for the crowd. Besides being very driving, this tune also has a super beautiful melody which expands and evolves throughout, giving it the vibe of a real journey track. Absolute class.
Besides being released on one of my favourite labels of all time No Art, this tune is one of the best tunes in my library when it comes to filling up a dancefloor. Super groovy and danceable, this tune often features in my sets when I’ve got a warm up slot and for good reason. Super simple yet infectious track!
Whether you’re playing a warm up slot or dishing out a peak time slot, this is a tune that can fit in any set at any time of the day or night. Super driving and low-key beat with such a cool vocal, I like to use this one as a bridge between high energy tracks, so to maintain the energy levels while not going over the top. Honestly, it’s one of those tracks that makes you and the crowd feel 10% cooler when its being played.
Absolute peak time whopper. Firstly, the influence of Anane and Blackchild on the same tune cannot be overlooked, and the result speaks for itself. Percussive and rolling rhythms, a beefy bassline and the stabbing vocals simply guarantee that the listener will be hooked. Such a classy tune which features in so many of my sets.
Deep into the night, tunes like this come out to play. This one’s got rough, tough and aggressive vibes written all over it. Firstly, it’s impossible not to appreciate the heavy and beefy bassline which rips through at the drop, but you also can't forget the synths, which for me truly make this track so unique. Use this track with caution, don’t say you haven’t been warned.
