Playlist of the Week: Vintage Culture

Vintage Culture
This playlist carries the pulse of my Summer 2025. From Glastonbury to Creamfields, Burning Man, and beyond, every track is a piece of the journey – airports, hotels, sunrise, soundchecks, and the roar of fans continents apart. These songs remind me why the road feels like home.
You’ll hear the debut release on my new label AFFAIRS, “Upon Your Skin”; a love letter to France, “Âme et L’Or” with Malou; the electric grit of Chris Lake and The Chemical Brothers’ “Galvanized”; Shermanology’s “Beat of the Drum”, pure fire for the crowd; and “Desert Moon” by Mila Journee & Daivic, a track that feels like chasing dawn in Ibiza. This is my soundtrack – joy, motion, and connection, everywhere at once.
"Upon Your Skin" marks the debut release on my new label, AFFAIRS. The track blends emotional depth with peak-time club energy, elevated by Noah Kulaga’s indie-leaning vocals that bring a disarming warmth. The chorus feels both immediate and deeply human, a hook that lingers long after the lights come up.
I picked "Galvanize" by Chris Lake and The Chemical Brothers because the remix keeps that unmistakable string sample and Q-Tip’s vocal, but tightens the kick and low end in a way that really locks the crowd into the rhythm.
Solomun personally selected "Âme et L’Or" to be included on my EP for Diynamic. Malou’s French vocal cuts through with a softness, and the synth layers build tension. This is my first track with a French top line and I had a blast playing it in almost all my daytime gigs this summer in Europe.
The ARTBAT 2025 remix of "Cola" makes the original vocal feel fresh again, and the heavier drops work perfectly in big outdoor festival sets. Each artist on this track – CamelPhat, Elderbrook, and ARTBAT – are personal friends and very talented producers. This classic was essential for my selections.
"Sauna" by Solee earns its place for its steady, driving groove and layered synth lines – it has a heat and pressure that fits those long, late-night setlists.
"Space" is another from my EP with Solomun’s Diynamic imprint. I made this track a few years ago for my debut at Club Space in Miami. I had sent Solomun about 20 tracks for him to choose from for my EP on Dyinamic and he chose this one as part of the pack.
"Desert Moon" carries a wide, atmospheric sound with deep low end and floating textures that always bring me back to playing under open skies.
GENESI has become one of the best Italian producers on the rise. "Hyper" was one of the biggest tracks in Solomun's recent sets and I've played it quite a lot recently.
"Beat of the Drum" by Shermanology makes the list because its percussion and Dorothy’s vocal add a raw, human energy that connects instantly with a festival crowd. We had the opportunity to write with Shermanology in Miami last year. They are a talented, creative duo.
This track is here because the remix adds Meduza’s darker melodic edge to Dubfire’s original minimal groove, with a rolling low end that makes it hit harder on big stages.
I included this one for its crisp percussion and vocal cuts, the kind of sharp production that locks fans into the rhythm without overcomplicating the mix.
"Night In Detroit" is on the list because it blends Guetta’s big-room sensibility with Fedde’s tighter house groove, carrying a classic Detroit-inspired energy through its synth stabs and bass.
Vinter is a fellow Brazilian. I've been banging this one lately, and it works every time since people recognize the Space Jam movie sample instantly.
I’m proud that “Do You” made it to Number #1 on Beatport’s Bass House Charts. This one stays with me because of its bass-heavy foundation, a balance of dutch style leads and low end weight that connects instantly with the crowd. “Do You” was the title track on my EP for Diynamic.
