Playlist of the Week: TeeBee

TeeBee
‘For this weeks playlist I’ve chosen some tracks from my forthcoming album ‘The Cosmic Carnival’ as well as some of my favourite tracks from the back catalog of my new home Flexout Audio. Then I threw in a couple of tracks from my back catalogue that mean a lot to me, I hope you enjoy and look out for my new album that drops in November.’
This track means so much to me because its the first ever release from my new project with DJ Craze and Palmer Reed, its a remix of a track I released in 2023 called 'The Way' and it marks the start of a brand new journey that I am really excited about. We have got so much music to drop over the next 12 months and I cannot wait for the world to hear it all.
I'm a huge fan of both Charli Brix and Visages. To me, Charli has the best voice and songwriting skills in the Drum & Bass scene. When you combine her with Visages' deep, effortless beat, it creates a timeless classic that perfectly captures the dark, soulful sound of my new home at Flexout.
"The Lightning That Scarred Mars" is the third single from my upcoming album, "The Cosmic Carnival." It represents everything I love about Drum & Bass. There’s really nothing else that sounds quite like it, and the reaction from crowds has been incredible every time I play it out.
I'm a huge fan of Amoss and his entire back catalog is full of gems. This track in particular really resonates with me. I love the progression and the cosmic theme, which gives it a timeless quality. It perfectly pays homage to the Drum & Bass era I love while still sounding fresh and modern.
Of all the tracks I've done with Calyx, this one has to be our biggest hit. It's wild to see it's racked up over 15 million streams on Spotify, and it's an incredible feeling to hear crowds singing along to it whenever I play it in the clubs.
"Gun Tune" was the second single from my album, and it's a perfect example of my unique approach to Drum & Bass. This track really defines my sound and shows that there's nothing else quite like it out there.
Amoss's track, "Pay Attention," really speaks to me because of the David Rodigan sample. The message, "Let the music breathe," perfectly captures my own DJing philosophy. Amoss once again shows his deep understanding of progression, and the song truly takes you on a journey.
This track is another one from my time working with Calyx, and it’s probably one of the first tracks people think of when they hear the names Calyx & TeeBee. I have so many great memories of this one, both from the studio sessions and from all the special moments it created on the dance floors at clubs and festivals.
This track is a stunning collaboration between two artists I have the utmost respect for. I've always loved Drum & Bass that evokes real emotion, and this one truly resonates with me. Once again its a great example of the deep, soulful side of the Flexout Audio sound and makes me feel proud and excited to be joining the crew.
Here's another Flexout cult classic: Bredren's "Fallen Leaves." I love understated tracks that tell a story and take you on a journey, and this track does that perfectly. It rewards your patience with an incredible switch.
