The 7 Best Minimal / Deep Tech Tracks On Beatport You May Have Missed

Our expert curation team brings you the best tracks on Beatport you may have missed. This time featuring Rich NxT, Wyatt Marshall, Jesse Maas, DJOKO and more.

Rich NxT – Rose (Original Mix) [Nxt Recs]

We cut right to the chase. Grab this tune for any part of your DJ set! NxT Records is back on home turf with the next EP from Rich NxT. Rich’s imprint is now seven releases strong and getting more and more momentum. His first release of 2022 set’s the expectations of what’s coming NxT very high. “Rose” takes us into tribal territory, where haunting, eerie synth lines meet rolling drums. A timeless tune.

Wyatt Marshall – Distant Traveller (Original Mix) [Moscow Records]

US-based artist Wyatt Marshall drops his debut release on Archie Hamilton’s renowned imprint Moscow Records named Chatterbox EP. Wyatt is high in demand, delivers constant and high-quality minimal house. His portfolio reads nicely Avotre, Desert Hearts, and Deeperfect to name just a few. The b-side of this release called ‘Distant Traveller’ uses a percussive groove accompanied by chords and pads. This track is a hybrid and lives off a soft deep house base as you might hear. Beautifully polished by an evolving arrangement this tune should be one of your essentials!

Jesse Maas – Take Control (Original Mix) [Berg Audio]

Dutch-based uprising talent Jesse Maas makes his debut on Berg Audio with three superb dubby-house cuts, the release also includes a quality remix from UK veteran Nail. My pick, “Take Control,” is spherical, uplifting and purely grooving. This floater is perfect to maintain your set and will do the job quite nicely.

DJOKO – My Crib (Original Mix) [Heavy House Society]

Heavy House Society starts out 2022 with the high-quality Rapture EP from Cologne-based artist DJOKO, remixed from the head honcho Sidney Charles. DJOKO’s sound takes influences from funk & soul, garage, deep house and everything else in between. The third cut is “My Crib,” a bassline-led track with an old-school flavor to it which combines atmospheric pads and provides depth, delicate and intricate melodies and leads. Can’t wait to hear more from him this year!

Dale Howard – Again (Original Mix) [Deeperfect]

UK house music purveyor Dale Howard follows up his Big T EP and Roots EP Italian record label Deeperfect Records with a fresh three-tracker titled Givin It Bifters. The standout track, “Again,” sees Howard employing his unfaltering deep tech rhythm and drive with see-sawing synths and adroit basslines. It’s the type of tune that will immediately transport your mind, boy, and soul to your ideal afterparty.

Robin Fett – Tides (James Dexter Remix) [Inermu]

Inermu is welcoming dutch based talent Robin Fett to the label. His Closer EP comes with two originals and remixes by Tuccillo and of course James Dexter. James’s interpretation of ‘Tide’ is simply incredible and lays down his well-known signature sound that everyone loves so much. Don’t read, just listen to this tune!

Fede Aliprandi – Moanin (Original Mix) [Ladeep]

One of Argentina’s most forward-thinking dance music labels Ladeep taps one of their country’s most up-and-coming tech house and deep tech acts, Fede Aliprandi, with his criminally smooth Update EP. Following a strong showing on labels like Rawsome and Deeperfect last year, Aliprandi continues to take the Buenos Aries club scene on resounding and fantastically minimal adventures. The title track of this latest release is a blissed-out roller packed with a variety that will make the dance floor glisten with groove.
