The 7 Best Indie Dance Tracks On Beatport You May Have Missed

Our expert curation team brings you the best tracks on Beatport you may have missed. This time featuring Shubostar, Rey&Kjavik, Justin Cudmore, Argia, and more.

Shubostar – Spiegel (feat. Justine Forever) [Internasjonal]

Hailing from South Korea, Shubostar has been immersing herself in the ever-evolving underground scene of South Korea and Thailand and now in Mexico. Her eclectic music taste spans various styles from disco to techno, but her music has a common theme of “Cosmic.” Proper Indie Dance nostalgia retro synth and a bit of dark disco vibe here.

Rey&Kjavik – Unconditional Love [RKJK]

“Unconditional Love” is all this world needs when people are hurt and going head to headway above limits. The track is taken from Rey&Kjavik’s third studio long-player on his own imprint, RKJVK, and was written in the last nine months while the pandemic changed so many things for all of us. The LP is full of memories and emotions. He is back with his own vocals based on different vocoder layers that hark back to the vibe of the earlier R&K years. The deepness, the synths, and the beloved 808s make this release an additional signature of his unique sound.

Alberto Melloni – Red Siren (Local Suicide Remix) [Paradise Palms Records]

A superb remix from Berlin’s Local Suicide, who offer up their production prowess to concoct a blissful landscape of dark disco. Trance-educing, sub-heavy bass, and a rolling pad line instantly transport the listener to a dungeon party planet, where music is the cult, and we are indoctrinated through dance.

Justin Cudmore & Brooks Mosher – Out Run [Cin Cin]

NYC meets Chicago, great collaboration from Justin Cudmore & Brooks Mosher on Fort Romeau’s Cin Cin label with beautiful synth work the sounds like a yin and yang floating above the NYC Skyline. The track is reminiscent of something you would hear in a Jennifer Cardini set at Panorama Bar.

I Promised Mom & Angst Vor Great – La Promesse (HIGHLITE Remix) [JEAMON! Records]

Adrien from Paris is I Promised Mom, and with his very first own production, he brings his talent to JEAMON! Records. “La Promesse” is a very cinematic and indie dance production that goes deep and comes paired with the vocals of Angst Vor Greta and an additional remix production by HIGHLITE that is packed with expert synth work.

Los Fugazzi – Unpunctual [Richmerch]

For number 13 of the RICHMERCH series, the label invited Guadalajara-based duo, Los Fugazzi, to bring something fresh for the dance floor. Two tracks with a mixture of electro and disco-punk with new beat & EBM answer our request. “Unpunctual” is for the peak hours.

I AM JAS – Lost In My Own Words (Argia Hot Drums Remix) [Musica Cavernicola]

Taken off young Spanish producer I AM JAS’s last EP, How Can I, Argia’s clean and elegant remix of “Lost In My Own Words” is a standout tune. Her stunning interpretation features drums in constant conversation, which create an atmosphere and a structure in perfect symbiosis. In addition, she adds an acid synth with a melody that appears and disappears, alternating with the vocals.
