Listen to Sherelle’s Debut EP, “160 Down The A406”

The two-track EP marks the first time Sherelle has officially released her own productions.

A new and compelling side to the fast-paced cuts of native Londoner Sherelle is on full display today with the highly anticipated release of the artist’s debut EP, 160 Down The A406.

Revered in underground circles worldwide for her lightning-fast selections, dexterity, and magnetic energy behind the decks, Sherelle has become one of the most exciting names in club music. Her knack for curation continues to reveal itself with her and Naina‘s Hooversound Recordings imprint, which has released music from the likes of SinistarrHyroglificsHØSTTim ReaperPrayer, and more.

Sherelle’s entry into production marks the next big step for the DJ whose unrelenting style, work ethic, and love for the dance music community knows no bounds. 160 Down The A406 is a departure from the high-octane vibes that often drive her infamous sets, showing off the “softer” and “emotive” side of her sound with two “warm and forgiving” tracks that “represent discovery” for the artist. Check out the EP below.

“The name 160 Down The A406 comes from harking back to where I am from but also the times I have been on my way to somewhere but zoning out, thinking about life, or on my way or coming back from a party,” Sherelle says about the release. “Those journeys can be some of the most underrated when it comes to self-reflection. 160 Down The A406 is just an introduction to the soundscapes and sonics that are to be expected from future releases this year, and I can not wait to release more.”
