US Electronic Artist Pierce Fulton Passes Away at Age 28May 3, 2021
The prolific American dance music producer passed away following “a tragic struggle with his mental health.”
Electronic musician Pierce Fulton, best known for his influential 2015 single “Kuaga (Lost Time),” has died at 28. In an announcement posted to Fulton’s social media profiles on Monday afternoon, Fulton’s older brother Griff shared the tragic news of Fulton’s passing.

“It breaks my heart to share with you that Pierce passed away on Thursday evening following a tragic struggle with his mental health,” the post reads. Fulton’s brother goes on to describe his positive spirit and energy, sharing his strengths and admirable qualities as not only an artist but as a brother and friend to all.
Additionally, Fulton’s brother shared that his family will be devoted to starting an organization in Fulton’s memory that will focus on “real and lasting positive change” surrounding mental health.
Growing up in the woods in Vermont, Pierce Fulton broke into the electronic music space in 2010 and quickly became known in the scene for his pop-adjacent take on progressive and electro house. Fulton released a slew of energetic singles and EPs through Cr2 Records just as the EDM boom took over the United States, leading Fulton to embark on headlining tours across the country. He’s also known for his electrifying remixes of world-famous artists such as The Killers, GOLDHOUSE, Dillon Francis, Mutemath, and more. In recent years, Fulton gravitated toward a refined electro pop sound and brought fans new works such as Free Fall EP and his latest full-length record Keeping The Little Things.
