Originally launched in 2005 by Alex Ridha in order to retain his full artistic freedom, the Berlin-based "non-conformist DIY anarchist collective" (Dazed & Confused) became a home for multidirectional electronic music, having formed a league of its own whilst escaping any ill-fitting genre pigeonholes.
