Stirmouth releases his new single “Leave It Up To You”
A new single from Stirmouth featuring Evi on vocals follows the release of his album “Stirring up the Soul”.
The new track Leave It Up To You is told from the perspective of someone who feels emotionally confused in a romantic connection. The other person remains partly hidden: one moment it feels like true love, the next it seems to mean nothing. That makes it both painful and confusing.
Stirmouth explains:
“In all of my productions, I aim for a soulful atmosphere, built on warm jazzy chords, groovy basslines, and retro-inspired synths and textures.
This track is no exception: it leans into soulful R&B, with influences from artists like Jorja Smith and Tom Misch, and a touch of J Dilla.
The production is warm and groovy, creating an intimate vibe that reinforces the emotional story behind the song.
