Danish producer drops ‘drift’, driven by uplifting garage and trance
Sebastian Wibe returns to Heldeep with ‘drift (burnforyou)’, his second release on the label after teaming up with R3WIRE on last year’s ‘Main Attraction’ from the Heldeep DJ Tools EP. This time, the Danish producer explores the realm between brawling reese basses, dark analog synths, and uplifting beats, combining it all with a 2000s trance-like vocal to finish it off. The result is a track that blends raw intensity with euphoria, pushing the boundaries of UKG while staying true to his own distinct sound.
Sebastian Wibe: “For ‘drift (burnforyou)’, I wanted to merge all my favorite genres: trance, UKG, and hardgroove. Once I had the lead melody down, everything came together really quickly. Paired with the trance-inspired vocal, the track gives me that feeling of early 2000s records—nostalgic and futuristic at the same time."
Sebastian’s previous release on Heldeep ‘Main Attraction’ has been widely supported by AAA artists, including the likes of Oliver Heldens, James Hype, Afrojack, Fedde Le Grand, Lucas & Steve, Merk & Kremont, and Dannic, while his last release ‘Make Me Feel’ was played by Don Diablo, Alok, Bingo Players and more.
