When Alesso and Sentinel link up, the result always moves the masses. “Freedom” is no exception to this rule, and with it, the serial collaborators add more festival-aimed firepower to their arsenal. The answer to their 2024 single, “I Like It” with Nate Smith, and their remix of the dance-country crossover, “Freedom” has worked overtime on festival grounds since Alesso previewed it at Ultra Music Festival in March.

“'Freedom' has been such a powerful record to play out over the last couple of months, it goes off every time,” he attests. “I’ve loved collaborating with the Sentinel boys on this one.”

“With ‘Freedom,’ we were excited to explore making a track built purely for the dance floor,” Sentinel add. “There’s an energy in this song that’s felt so fresh yet nostalgic since day one. Since collaborating with Alesso back in 2022, we’ve always shared a clear, unified vision for our music."

The song evokes the stadium-sized sound of progressive house and bigroom’s golden era with a modern twist that makes like the name of Alesso’s new label to give listeners a Body Hi. Its pumped-up synths, driving bassline, and seismic drops are a formula for maximum impact that hits just as hard as Alesso and the Australian trio intended it to. Listen below.

“Freedom” is pure mainstage power, out now via BodyHi.
