John Monkman returns to Anjunadeep for his second release of 2025
‘Jungle / Young’ out now

A label mainstay, John first released on Anjunadeep over 10 years ago with his 2014 track Open Frontier that featured on Anjunadeep 06.
Since then, he has released his Komplex EP, remixed Eli & Fur, and appeared on numerous compilations such as Anjunadeep 14 and 15, and Reflections 09.
John has had a busy 2025, starting the year off with a headline set at Copenhagen’s MODULE and receiving BBC Radio 1 spins from Pete Tong, later leading into the release of Place To Be / Modwonk, released on Anjunadeep in April.
The new double-A side sees John release highly anticipated track Jungle, as featured on James Grant’s Movement Vol. 4 compilation, known for its hard-hitting bass stabs.
On the flipside, Young is a fresh take on John’s sound, featuring emotive vocals and a buzzy melodic bassline.
