Rezz Announces New Album, ‘As The Pendulum Swings,’ with “Prophecy”
The follow-up to Rezz's 2024 LP, 'CAN YOU SEE ME?' is due September 12 via HypnoVizion Records.
Rachel Narozniak

Rooted in elements of French electro and dark techno, Rezz’s fifth studio album will widen the crepuscular, bass-anchored pool of sounds within which the self-proclaimed “space mom” has worked to date. The audiovisual artist announced her forthcoming LP, As The Pendulum Swings, on June 27 with “Prophecy,” the project’s opening song and third single, following “Contorted” in April and “Telepathy” in May.
“Prophecy” sets an eerie, foreboding tone for what remains to come on As The Pendulum Swings. The single’s industrial basslines and visceral, tech-driven melodies channel a dystopian feeling reminiscent of apocalyptic scenes from a science fiction thriller – haunting, hypnotic, and impossible to look away from. The listening experience is like that, too; stream the new song below.
Due via HypnoVizion Records on September 12, As The Pendulum Swings will usher in a refined and matured strain of Rezz’s sound, building on past concept-driven projects, like 2024’s heavy bass LP, CAN YOU SEE ME?, and 2023’s goth-themed IT’S NOT A PHASE EP.
In the meantime, “Prophecy” is out now on HypnoVizion. Buy it on Beatport.
