Anyma, Layton Giordani Reconvene for Rousing Remix of Shakedown’s “At Night”
The hotly-tipped producers counter their 2024 remix of Loofy's "At Night" with a brooding take on the Defected classic.

Synergy speaks for itself, and on Anyma and Layton Giordani’s remix of Shakedown’s 2002 single, “At Night,” it’s rather loud. Of course, it's no secret that the two work exceptionally well together – their take on Loofy’s “Last Night" was virtually inescapable in underground circles last year, after all. Yet while that remix established just how seamlessly their sounds align, this one flexes it, balancing Anyma's signature cinematic tension and moody atmosphere with Giordani's clean, propulsive progression to prove that lightning can, in fact, strike twice.
Together, they evoke sonic drama with energy and precision, trading the Defected classic's disco-tinted soul for a warehouse-ready pulse with clear staying power. Listen below.
With their spin, they join the savvy coterie of creatives — including Peggy Gou, Purple Disco Machine, and Kid Crème — who’ve re-envisioned Shakedown's groovy original in recent years, placing Anyma and Giordani in good company not once, but twice.
The remix is out now via Defected. Buy it on Beatport.
