Anticipation continues to grow for Beyer’s first album in over two decades.

The momentum kicked off with the release of the title track, “Explorer,” in March, followed by the acclaimed “Hypnotic” — a standout collaboration with rising star HNTR, featuring Kyozo

Since then, the highlights have kept coming. From a massive 12,000-strong Drumcode takeover at Drumsheds (where Beyer went b2b with Vintage Culture), to an unexpected and lively Drumcode pop-up in a London off-license, the buzz has been nonstop.

Beyer also made a splash on two prominent billboards in Leicester Square and Stratford, marking his Spotify Techno State playlist takeover. Most recently, he returned to BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix for the first time since 2006 and dropped “Alto”, a soaring collaboration with Layton Giordani. The track pairs perfectly with “Taking Back Control,” a standout on the album that fuses techno with pop and trap influences.

The next album chapter is Desolate Lands — a grandiose electronic composition that superbly merges Chris Avantgarde’s immersive widescreen production touch with Beyer’s slick, dancefloor-focused arrangements. The results are thrilling.

“Chris and I have been hanging out a lot the past year or so. He sent me a half-finished idea, and I took it from there — added drums, synths, rearranged it, and added a small but emotional vocal sample. This one’s gotten a massive reaction. I am really proud of it.”
