Above & Beyond Launch ‘Start A Fire’ Remix Contest Ahead of Forthcoming Album
Above & Beyond have launched a remix contest for their new single “Start A Fire”, inviting producers around the world to reinterpret one of the standout tracks from their Coachella 2025 set. The competition marks the lead-up to their forthcoming album Bigger Than All Of Us, and offers a chance for rising talent to earn an official Anjunabeats release and exclusive prizes.

Anjunabeats founders Above & Beyond have launched a global remix competition for “Start A Fire,” the third single from their forthcoming LP Bigger Than All Of Us, due 18 July. Unveiled during the trio’s peak-time Coachella 2025 set, the 128 BPM, B-flat-minor anthem pairs their trademark melodic uplift with a festival-ready groove, now handed over to producers for re-interpretation.
The London-formed outfit - Paavo Siljamäki, Jono Grant and Tony McGuinness - have spent 25 years building one of electronic music’s most loyal followings. Their weekly radio show Group Therapy reaches around 30 million listeners, while their labels Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep have become launchpads for acts ranging from Mat Zo to Ben Böhmer. A previous remix contest in 2011 for “You Got To Go” famously crowned a then little-known Californian producer: Seven Lions.

Winners of the “Start A Fire” remix competition will receive a range of exclusive rewards from Above & Beyond and Anjunabeats:

How to Enter
- Download the official stems via LabelRadar.
- Produce a remix of at least three minutes, ensuring all additional sounds are cleared for use.
- Submit the final WAV/MP3 via LabelRadar before the deadline (one entry per person; updated versions may be re-uploaded until the cut-off).
Above & Beyond will choose the winners in July, shortly after their album release. In keeping with the group’s emphasis on songwriting and emotional resonance, the label encourages entrants to focus on musicality and arrangement as much as peak-time impact.
