Founded by beloved BBC Radio 1 tastemaker Jaguar, the label Utopia Worldwide is the vibrant, queer-powered label and club concept pushing UK dance music into joyful new territory. What began as a grassroots party series has grown into a multifaceted platform: a label for euphoric club cuts with a wink, a podcast where tough conversations meet real talk, and a home for next-gen ravers seeking community, expression, and connection.
Since its launch in 2020, UTOPIA has thrown immersive parties across the UK and beyond – from boat raves on the Thames to its annual Ibiza residency at Pikes – with guests like Flava D, Kiimi, TSHA, and Barry Can’t Swim. Its label arm launched in 2023 and has already delivered heat from rising stars like Junior Simba, Lu.Re, Driia, and Mary Droppinz, with releases that celebrate fun, flair, and dance floor liberation.
We caught up with Jaguar to learn more about her label's ethos and underground approach, hear some of the label's most pivotal tracks, and get a tease as to what we can be expecting next from Jaguar and Utopia Worldwide.
