They Call Me Steve Releases New Single “Do You Think About Me”

Out today via Be Yourself Music, “Do You Think About Me” is the latest track by They Call Me Steve, the introspective solo project of Dutch producer Jordi van Achthoven (also known as one half of Tinlicker).
Blending emotional depth with rich sonic textures, the single continues his signature style of melodic house infused with ambient and experimental influences. Built from samples, personal recordings, and late-night creative sessions, “Do You Think About Me” draws listeners into a world that feels both nostalgic and immediate.
It’s a track that captures the emotional essence of modern electronic music - warm, human, and deeply personal. This is the third release under the They Call Me Steve alias in 2025, following “Whatever You Call It” and “Life Has Changed”, each highlighting a different shade of Jordi’s sonic identity. With its soulful sampling and layered production, the new single invites comparisons to artists like Bicep, Fred Again.., and Weval. Created using a minimalist home studio setup, the project reflects Jordi’s vision to let the music speak louder than any image or social media presence: “What I want most is for the music to resonate with people - not for my image to grow.”
