After circulating at a litany of major North American dance/electronic music festivals, from Ultra Miami to Dreamstate, Armin van Buuren and Indira Paganotto’s fire-breathing “Dragon” is now scorching digital streaming platforms. The pyro-adjacent single is pure psy-trance maximalism that lands just before their back-to-back set at Sónar Festival on June 14, and several weeks ahead of the second installment in the trance dynamo’s two-part ninth studio album, Breathe. Listen below.

Due June 27, Breathe Out will complete the Armada Music co-founder’s Breathe LP, bringing 39 new tracks to streamers’ speakers, including “Dragon.” Breathe Out follows its more succinct, 12-song counterpart, Breathe In, released last January.

As van Buuren and Paganotto’s first-ever collaboration, “Dragon” makes a compelling case for future team-ups from the two producers. It also puts an exclamation point on the Breathe tracklist, which features appearances from a broad swath of musical talents, like David Guetta, Bon Jovi, W&W, Moby, and many more.
