Beyond the Booth: Inner Shah Launches Off-Stage
Madd Rod curates an atmospheric trip through dark disco, indie electronics, and unreleased label cuts.
Inner Shah Recordings presents Off-Stage, a new mix series inviting artists to record outside the club context. Designed as a space for freedom and nuance, the series leans into slower builds, strange transitions, and deeper listening - without losing the pulse.
Kicking things off is label head Madd Rod with a 60-minute set that drifts through leftfield electronics, dark disco, and indie dance. Across 15 tracks - including three unreleased cuts - the mix balances moody rhythm with melodic tension.
Highlights include Cowboy Rhythmbox’s “We Got The Box,” Lauer’s remix of “Hump Acid,” and a hypnotic take from Aditya Permana. Also featured are two unreleased tracks by Altered View, one of which is lifted from their forthcoming debut album on Inner Shah.
Madd Rod closes the mix with his own unreleased “Force Mécanique”, now up for pre-order on Beatport.
