Beatport Exclusive: Listen to HNTR's debut solo Drumcode release 'Victory'

The track re-contextualises a classic Enya vocal line.

Victory 16x9

Toronto’s genre-blurring force HNTR makes his debut on Drumcode’s DCX imprint - the label’s sample-based offshoot - with the high-impact single ‘Victory’, out now.

The No Neon label boss has had a stellar run: from winning the first-ever Juno Award for Underground Dance Music, to topping Beatport charts and clocking over 15 million TikTok views with his viral remix of Cloonee’s ‘Stephanie’.

His collab ‘Yes B!tch’ also hit #1 on Beatport, confirming his appeal both on the dancefloor and online. ‘Victory’ follows ‘Hypnotic’, his recent collaboration with Adam Beyer featured on the Swedish techno titan’s Explorer Vol.1 album, and sees HNTR reimagine Enya’s cult 1987 ambient track ‘Boadicea’. Twisting the ethereal hums into something darker and more driving, ‘Victory’ is a gothic, industrial-tinged techno cut - with stormy builds, jagged drops and brooding FX - designed for peak-time impact.
