Out now on Get Physical Music, Philipp Jung delivers a new remix of DJ T.’s 2009 standout ‘Bateria’, revisiting a key moment in the label’s history with a version tailored for today’s dancefloors.
The original—known for its rolling percussion and laid-back funk—first appeared on DJ T.’s album The Inner Jukebox. For this release, it gets a new spin from longtime collaborator and fellow co-founder Philipp Jung (formerly of M.A.N.D.Y.), who brings a deeper house focus, adding jazzy chords and a breezy groove that shifts the track into a new space.
Jung’s remix holds onto the feel of the original while updating the structure and texture for current sets. A newly remastered version of the original track is also included, giving DJs and fans two strong options—one nostalgic, one forward-leaning.
