Future Talent DJ Lulo (UY) Wins Pete Tong DJ Academy's 2025 Beatport Award
The rising Uruguayan DJ/producer earns top honors from Pete Tong DJ Academy and Beatport for her hypnotic blend of house, minimal deep-tech, and tech-house — setting the stage for a breakout year.
This month we announce a very special winner for the Beatport Award, an annual accolade within the Future Talent Awards. Every year, one of the Top 10 Future Talent Award winners is selected to receive the Beatport Award, giving them substantial recognition and exposure within the global electronic music community.
This year's winner is Lulo (UY), a rising star from Uruguay. Lulo has been captivating audiences with her trademark percussive sound and groovy rhythms, fusing elements of house, minimal deep-tech, and tech-house to create a unique and hypnotic style that keeps dance floors moving. Her music is a testament to her technical precision and creative flair, which have made her a standout artist on the global stage.
A semifinalist in the Elrow Up & Coming Talent 2024 competition, Lulo recently reached #18 on our Minimal Deep-Tech Top 100 with her latest Emma EP and has shared the stage with top-tier artists such as Supernova, Melanie Ribbe, and Reelow, further solidifying her reputation as a talented and energetic performer.
