It’s Not a Battle, It’s a Double Knockout – THE MOMENT & 2 THA BEAT
WELKER and BROKEN HILL trade blows and land hits.

When I was 18, fresh outta high school, me and my best mate decided — on a whim — to drive down to Melbourne and go clubbing.
No plan. No place to stay.
First night? Slept in the car on Chapel Street.
Second night? We treated ourselves — a hotel room. And a party: FREAKAZOID.
I remember looking at the flyer... couldn't tell you who was playing,
but every set was listed as X vs Y.
I’d never seen that before.
VS?
I figured it was like a boxing match —
each DJ trying to knock the other out... with basslines, not punches.
Honestly? Not far off.
Which brings me to this:
A double A-side release —
THE MOMENT by WELKER & BROKEN HILL
2 THA BEAT by BROKEN HILL & WELKER
Clock the order?
Each track leads with a different name.
Not a typo, Sherlock — that’s intentional.
WELKER took the reins on THE MOMENT.
BROKEN HILL steered the ship on 2 THA BEAT.
A bit like that first “VS” set I ever saw.
Who wins?
You decide. Or maybe... just enjoy both.
Let’s talk creds:
WELKER —
Debut on DIYNAMIC went to #3 on Beatport.
Followed it up with a heater on REPOPULATE MARS
Supported by the likes of CamelPhat, Solomun, Gordo, Mezuza and more.
BROKEN HILL —
Carving his name on labels like MACCABI HOUSE and DISCO HALAL
Played by everyone from Four Tet to Super Flu, Adam Ten, Max Styler and of course, Solomun.
And now?
Together on CLUB SWEAT.
We’re calling it their best work yet.
You can call us biased...
or you can hit play —
and thank us later.
Much love
Team Sweat
