Vintage Culture and Layla Benitez help us find “Nirvana” with a a melodic techno and Afro house hybrid featuring Max Milner’s soaring vocals - out now via Knee Deep in Sound.

Vintage Culture is back with another stunner — and this time, he’s teamed up with NYC's beloved talent Layla Benitez for “Nirvana,” a sleek and soulful new single that lands today via Hot Since 82's Knee Deep In Sound.
Blending Afro house textures with melodic techno ferver, “Nirvana” is pure dance floor fuel. Max Milner’s breathtaking vocals float over sweeping synths and deep, rolling basslines, building into a drop that feels both euphoric and deeply emotional. It’s the kind of track that hits just as hard in a packed club as it does during a sunrise set. Listen below.
Layla first played an early version of the track at Pacha last summer — with Vintage Culture in the booth. “He immediately connected with it and had ideas,” she says. “From there, the creative process truly became an organic back-and-forth.”
Already getting spins from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Danny Howard, “Nirvana” is shaping up to be one of summer’s first big moments. It follows Vintage Culture’s recent run of heaters, including his massive collab with ARTBAT on "She The Last One" and a remix of Empire of the Sun’s “Cherry Blossom.”
