ARMC LOTH ART 16x9

Johannesburg, South Africa – May 2025
Africa Rising Music Conference (ARMC), the continent’s leading female-led music industry platform, returns for its 5th edition on 22–23 May 2025 at Constitution Hill, Johannesburg, uniting bold voices and global collaborators under the theme:
“A Space for Every Voice.”

This year marks a significant milestone as ARMC announces a strategic partnership with UK-born worldwide force Lady of the House (LOTH) — launching the initiative in South Africa with cultural icon Money Badoo as its new regional ambassador.

Since launching in 2021 with a groundbreaking, sold-out book featuring 150 stories from across the industry — including Charlotte De Witte, Ultra Naté, Nina Kraviz, Nicole Moudaber, and more — Lady of the House has grown into a multifaceted platform driving gender balance in music.
LOTH encompasses a respected media platform, record label, events, education, and artist/professional development.

Its South African launch at ARMC reflects a powerful alignment:
Two women-led initiatives joining forces to create access, equity, and global exchange in music.

“Being part of Lady of the House means standing on the shoulders of giants while carving space for the next wave of greatness,”
says Money Badoo.
“South Africa is rich with raw talent and deep stories — this is about making sure the world hears them.”

“We’re beyond excited to expand into South Africa with Money Badoo at the helm,”
says Laila McKenzie, LOTH Founder.
“ARMC is the ideal partner — rooted in purpose, pushing boundaries, and building bridges.”
