Cassian Unleashes Amped-Up Single “SOS” on Experts Only

 Cassian is back with “SOS,” a blistering new single marking his very first original single on John Summit’s Experts Only imprint, his second outing on the imprint following the huge success of his "Shiver" remix last year. The GRAMMY-winning Australian DJ/producer, curator and trusted mix engineer delivers a suspense-fueled anthem powered by soaring builds, a wickedly catchy vocal hook, and a driving, bass-heavy drop - already a standout moment in his recent sets. The release of “SOS” follows Cassian’s high-profile role as Music Director for Anyma’s End of Genesys residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, helping to shape the sonic identity of one of the most technically ambitious and talked about electronic productions to date. He also performed as direct support during the residency’s final night.

In describing the inspiration behind the single, Cassian joked: “Someone told me I look like the Easter Island statues, so at the start of the year, I went on a trip to check them out in the flesh. When I arrived, they started singing this song to me. I quickly recorded it and then was immediately possessed by a spirit who sampled it and produced it into ‘SOS’. So I guess it was a spiritual ghost producer.”

Having recently embarked on his North American tour, Cassian is slated to make his Tomorrowland mainstage debut on July 19th. It follows recent peak-time weapons like “Where I’m From” with SCRIPT and Belladonna and the Afterlife favorite “Dun Dun.” With credits for artists like RÜFÜS DU SOL, Dom Dolla, and John Summit himself, Cassian is truly having a moment right now!
